Basic/Open Water
This is the course you need to become a certified Scuba Diver. After
spending a short amount of time in the classroom and pool, you will do 5
open water dives and achieve certification through PADI, the largest dive
training agency in the world.
Advanced Open Water
This course is a continuing education certification course for certified
divers. It is an enjoyable program of continued supervised experience
designed to introduce divers to a variety of diving activities. The course
consists of three core dives (night, deep and underwater navigation) and
elective dives.
Emergency First Response
Know what to do when no one else does! The EFR course
combines first aid and CPR training to meet your prerequisite for the Rescue
Diver course. Upon completion of the EFR course, you will be a qualified
First Responder. This course is open to non-divers as well as certified
divers. Both the EFR and DAN Oxygen provider course listed below
provide serious education and fun for the entire family.
DAN Oxygen Provider
This course covers the medical benefits and practical
administration of oxygen for diving injuries. It is a hands on course
designed to familiarize students with the use of emergency oxygen equipment.
This course is open to divers and non-divers. Knowledge of first aid and CPR, as provided in
the Emergency First Response course above, is a prerequisite for this course.
Technical Diving International NITROX Diver Program
This is an introductory course to Enriched Air Nitrox diving. Upon
completion of this course, certified divers will have the knowledge needed
to conduct Nitrox dives with mixtures between 22% and 40% oxygen. Nitrox
diving is already very popular all around the world, and available on many
dive boats and resorts. Learn how to increase your bottom time and shorten
your surface intervals.
Specialty Diver Program
Focus on the underwater activities that interest you most. Specialty
certifications expose you to exciting new skills and environments. Most
courses can be completed in a weekend, with emphasis on hands-on learning.
That means DIVING! The following specialty courses are offered on a regular
basis:
Night Diver, Underwater Navigator, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Altitude Diver,
Boat Diver, Drift Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Equipment Specialist, Multi-level Diver, PADI NITROX Diver, Underwater Videographer, Underwater Photographer, Underwater
Naturalist
The following courses require an advanced diver certification as a
prerequisite: Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Search and Recovery Diver
Rescue Diver
Serious Fun! Rescue diver is a unique course that not only provides the
skills to make you a safe diver and a better dive buddy, but it's also basic
for anyone thinking of becoming a diving professional. This engrossing
program teaches you to focus on other divers, as well as yourself, and shows
you how to recognize and prevent a diving accident before it occurs, and how
to respond if one does. Although the subject matter is serious, the course
is both intensely rewarding and enjoyable.
Master Scuba Diver
PADI's highest recreational credential. The Master Scuba Diver rating is
the highest recreational diver rating in the PADI program, and denotes
superior achievement and proficiency. Pre-requisites: Rescue Diver with five
specialty diver certifications.
Divemaster
The first professional level in diving. The rating denotes an individual
who has a high level of personal diving skill and instructor level knowledge
of diving theory. The divemaster candidate receives significant training in
how to assist an instructor during training activities, and also in how to
organize, conduct and supervise recreational diving activities, both land
and boat based. The trained divemaster is able to assume a role of
responsibility for the welfare of other divers in his charge.
